About the opportunity

120 Countdown is a free program connecting learner drivers with volunteer mentors to complete the 120 hours of driving practice needed before they can go for their Provisional licence. We are seeking volunteers with a full and valid drivers’ licence to mentor learner drivers and teach them how to drive.

Access to transport means access to opportunities. Public transport isn’t always an option, so having a driver’s licence opens the road to education and employment opportunities.

Our programs runs across the Nambucca Valley, Coffs Harbour and surrounding areas.

What you need

  • Full and valid C (car) licence
  • A few hours a week
  • Compete relevant training – such as Uniting’s Driver Safety e-module and Accidental Counsellor training.

Volunteering with Uniting is subject to satisfactory background checks which include a National Police Check and Reference Checks.
