If you cast your minds back, you might remember seeing (and hopefully reading!) our introductory blog to Money Management<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Why You Need a Bank Account<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Whether you want a safe place to keep your money or you\u2019re starting your first job and your employer needs to know how to pay you – having a bank account will quickly become a vital part of your life.<\/p>\n

To start with, you should only need a basic transaction account; most banks refer to these as \u2018Everyday Accounts\u2019. They should be free to use and open.<\/p>\n
