However, in reality, consultants often provide support during implementation, change management, and really focus on nurturing a long-term relationship with their clients.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One of the most common questions I get from aspiring consultants is what does a day in the life look like? And I believe this question stems from overall ambiguity about the roles and responsibilities within consulting.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>One of my personal favourite analogies is to think of consultants as a doctor or GP for businesses. As in, consultants take a personalised, collaborative, and agile approach to client projects.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I hope that helps.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>A piece of advice I provide to my younger self is to learn a high-value skill.
