Senior job roles include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building Estimator<\/li>\n<li>Civil Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Construction and Site Manager<\/li>\n<li>Construction Project Manager<\/li>\n<li>Operation and Strategy Manager<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance Coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Individuals in these roles usually have a significant background of working across sites, perhaps in various positions, building their skills, knowledge, and expertise to support the industry at a senior level later in their careers.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Myth Number Three: The Construction Industry is Just for Boys<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Traditionally and historically, the construction industry has been male-dominated, but this beginning to change.<\/p>\n<p>National data from Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) recently revealed that Australian female construction and trades apprentices have doubled in the last decade, from December 2010 to December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Organisations like the National Association for Women in Construction are paving the way and raising awareness for the rewarding career pathways for everyone within the construction industry.
