{"id":10976,"date":"2022-02-07T03:47:19","date_gmt":"2022-02-07T03:47:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/explorecareers.emotedigital.com.au\/?post_type=ra-jobs&#038;p=10976"},"modified":"2022-02-07T03:47:19","modified_gmt":"2022-02-07T03:47:19","slug":"community-care-worker-2","status":"publish","type":"ra-jobs","link":"https:\/\/explorecareers.com.au\/job\/community-care-worker-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Community Care Worker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HammondCare At Home is continuing to expand our services and we are seeking several part-time Community Care Workers to provide support to our Clients across the\u00a0<strong>North Shore Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>North Team &#8211; Gordon, Wahroonga, Berowra, North Turramurra<br \/>\nSouth team &#8211; Killara, Forestville, Chatswood, Neutral Bay, North Sydney,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>About HammondCare<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HammondCare specialises in Aged and Dementia Care, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation, Mental Health services for older people, and other related Health and Aged Care services.\u00a0 HammondCare seeks to embed evidence-based best practices in its services and we provide these services through Home Care, Sub-Acute Hospitals and Residential Aged Care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s involved in the role?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Community Aged Care Support Workers deliver a range of \u2018At Home\u2019 Aged Care services and mostly work independently in client homes, but with direct support from their Care Manager. \u00a0Duties include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisting with personal care<\/li>\n<li>Medication assistance<\/li>\n<li>Meal preparation<\/li>\n<li>Light housework<\/li>\n<li>Shopping and transport to medical appointments<\/li>\n<li>Social support and community engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do\u00a0<em>you<\/em>\u00a0need to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Aged Care is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s Licence<\/li>\n<li>A reliable car with minimum third-party insurance<\/li>\n<li>Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable (not essential)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Culture<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HammondCare At Home has a relationship-based approach to care, and our team members take the time to fully understand the individual needs of every person we care for.
