Ideally the successful applicants will have the vision to progress within the team out on the road \u2013 selling the Mainfreight brand. To begin, you will be provided \u201chands-on training within the operations\u201d<\/strong> to build a foundation of knowledge of who we are and what we do as a business. You will go on an induction to gain a deeper understanding of Mainfreight, how our culture has made us successful, and the role you will play to work towards our 100-year vision.<\/p>\n Once you have developed this foundation, you will have ongoing training and development to learn the world of sales from our experienced team who will coach and mentor you along the way. This is an entry-level role<\/strong> and ideal for someone that wants a long-term career in a global growing company. Simply, this cadetship will involve:<\/p>\n WHAT IS SALES AT MAINFREIGHT?<\/strong><\/p>\n When you \u201cgraduate\u201d, you will take on a geographic sales territory or a portfolio of customers to manage and grow by identifying new business opportunities, understanding those prospective customers\u2019 needs and developing\/presenting Mainfreight solutions that help our customers grow and prosper.\u00a0You will be given branch and national support to help maintain and develop your territory and customer portfolio.<\/p>\n SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n Ideally, we are looking for the requirements below however we understand candidates will not have all the skills – which is okay.
