You can even taste it.<br \/> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/> Reporting into the Technical &amp; Menu Innovation Manager, the Quality Assurance Supervisor maintains the required framework between stores and suppliers to deliver high quality and safe food. As a key part of the Implementation Team, this role is pivotal to the continuous evaluation, improvement, and compliance of safe, quality food to our franchisees and customers alike.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p> <strong>Key Activities Include:<\/strong><br \/> <strong>Product Quality &amp; Food Safety<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct product surveillance checks to ensure compliance to specification.<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate product recalls\/withdrawals and conduct thorough investigations of such events with the supplier.<\/li>\n<li>Work in conjunction with suppliers to improve product quality and efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<br \/> <strong>Supplier Management<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage supplier quality &amp; food safety systems and processes to conform to Craveable Brands standards and Federal\/State regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Execute the Craveable Brands Approved Supplier Certification Program and ensure it is adhered to, including surveillance and reporting of supplier performance.<\/li>\n<li>Review Supplier Quality Incident systems and trends, ensuring feedback is communicated to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>Technical Compliance<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support and guidance to the Menu Innovation and Go-To-Market teams across brands in relation to food safety &amp; quality tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain supplier information, certifications register and product &amp; packaging specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Document and maintain technical details and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure strong business relationships with all internal and external stakeholder management is maintained.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>About You<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><br \/> <strong>Essential<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary qualifications in food science or related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>3-5 years experience in food science or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated Experience in Quality Assurance in the food industry (retail, hospitality, manufacturing, supply chain) or related fields.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of key industry food standards including federal &amp; state-based legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving and investigative skills.<\/li>\n<li>A dedication and commitment to quality, process and compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> &nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/> <strong>Desirable<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) industry highly regarded but not essential.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to travel interstate for short periods of time on an infrequent basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <strong>We offer:<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer Working Hours so you can make the most of the warmer weather.
