Earn as you learn from the best to become a specialist high voltage Electrician.<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 year program completing a nationally recognised qualification<\/li>\n<li>Supportive + inclusive team environment that celebrates diversity + innovation<\/li>\n<li>Learn from industry leading mentors and complete a variety of rotations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About the role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this four-year program, you will work under the supervision of highly skilled and supportive tradespersons to complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, with the option to complete further study \u2013 either an Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical\/Electronic Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>As you learn from industry experts, you will select, install, setup, test, fault find, repair and maintain high voltage electrical systems and equipment, delivering critical State-wide transmission services to 5 million Queensland customers.<\/p>\n<p>Along the way, you will also complete the below qualifications and licences:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First Aid certificate + Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate<\/li>\n<li>High risk work licences including Elevated Work Platform, Rigging and Dogging, and Forklift<\/li>\n<li>Heavy Rigid truck Licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When you join our team, you will enter a supportive and collaborative working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.<\/p>\n<p>This role will require travel throughout Queensland and work on a 9-Day roster.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inclusion at Powerlink<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unleashing our people\u2019s potential is essential to our success.
