As an Apprentice Lineworker your main role will be to construct and maintain overhead and underground electrical lines and structures. You will also respond to, and rectify network faults to restore supply to our customers, along with undertaking metering & servicing tasks to connect new customers.<\/p>\n
Our Apprenticeships run over a four-year period, combining formal TAFE study and paid field work to enable you to gain the skills, competencies and experience required for an industry recognised trade qualification (Certificate III \u2013 ESI Distribution Overhead).<\/em><\/p>\n *If you are currently completing a pre-requisite subject, you are eligible to apply, as long as it will be successfully completed by the end of the 2024 academic year.<\/em><\/p>\n We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to consider applying, whether you are leaving school, TAFE, have experience working in a different industry, or if perhaps you have decided university is not for you.\u00a0 We look for motivated individuals who want to be part of a team.<\/p>\n Our greatest priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of our people and the communities we operate within.
