This unique opportunity will give you the experience to make important contributions to the security of an Air Force base. You\u2019ll join a close-knit and highly skilled team working in a variety of environments, often outdoors and in diverse conditions.<\/p>\n

Working with qualified Airfield Defence Guards, you will learn how to handle weapons, experience what it\u2019s like to conduct foot and vehicle patrols, construct field defences and obstacles, plus undertake search and clearance operations.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s called the ADF Gap Year Program, but it isn\u2019t just reserved for people that are straight out of school. Salary: <\/strong><\/p>\n

During your 12-month role and on completion of training, you\u2019ll receive a salary package starting from $66,963.<\/p>\n

In addition to your salary, you will receive generous superannuation, housing subsidies and free medical and dental care.<\/p>\n

For this role, you must be aged between 17-24 years old to apply, an Australian Citizen, hold a provisional Drivers Licence (minimum) and have completed Year 12, with passes in Year 10 English and Maths.<\/p>\n
