When Mia Young joined Polyaire at 19, she was just getting started in the world of full-time work.

What a Normal Day Looks Like
Mia’s role as an Admin Assistant is fast-paced, hands-on, and full of variety.
“No two days are the same,” she says. “I help customers, process orders, organise deliveries, and support our sales and warehouse teams. There’s a lot of multitasking, but that’s what keeps it interesting.”
She’s also the person keeping everything running behind the scenes, from ordering supplies to managing paperwork.
“It keeps me on my toes, but I love that. I’m constantly learning and picking up new skills.”
Growing with Polyaire
When Mia started, she didn’t have heaps of experience. But with the right support, she’s grown more than she ever expected.
“My team and managers were so supportive. They took the time to guide me, build my confidence, and teach me the ropes,” she says.

Mia’s Advice for Anyone Starting Out
“Stay open-minded and say yes to learning,” Mia says. “When I joined, I didn’t have much experience, but I was curious and asked questions, and that made all the difference.”
Her advice for anyone starting out? “Be reliable, organised, and approachable. Take pride in your work, be proactive, and build good relationships with your team. Every day is a chance to grow and make a real difference.”
