Purpose
“Life After School: Broaden your horizons with Macquarie” aims to teach high schools students what it is really like working at a large corporation like Macquarie and provide career advice to them as they think about their future career choices.
We hope to raise awareness of the diverse nature of careers within the banking and financial services industry. Our aim is to identify future junior talent, particularly women, and encourage them to consider Macquarie as a future employer. The JD Talent team will conduct two-hour interactive workshops, targeted toward select year 11 & 12 students, covering a range of topics including career opportunities within our business, CV writing skills, interview tips and tricks, and strategies for showcasing your skill-set during the recruitment process, especially if you have little to no working experience.
Following these workshops, students will have an opportunity to apply for retail opportunities with JD Sports and attend a group interview.
