What do I need to apply?
Completed your undergraduate degree between 2022 and the end of 2024
An Australian citizen or permanent resident (including New Zealand citizens) at the time you apply
A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle when you start

Linfox Vacation Program
What does the program look like?
The Linfox Vacation Program is a paid learning and development program that runs for three months during the summer university break. The Program is targeted at University students in their penultimate year of study and presents a great opportunity to experience working at Linfox before applying for the Graduate Program.
During the 3 months you will be able to observe and work in operational areas such as transportation management and warehousing. Help define the future of logistics, use industry-leading technology in safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Giving you a thorough understanding of general logistics tasks while working with cutting-edge technologies.
In addition to gaining practical experience in a rapidly growing industry, you will also have the opportunity to:

Work within a supportive team

Develop professional relationships and connections that will enhance your career
Be paired with a Linfox employee who will provide you with supervision

Gain exposure to the supply chain network
At the end of the Program, you’ll have the option of fast-tracking your application for the following year’s Graduate Program. If successful, you’ll be able to enjoy your final year of study without worrying about job searches.
Eligibility
You are completing a Supply Chain & Logistics degree or a major in this discipline in your degree.
You are an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident at the time of your application (essential);
You are in your penultimate year (second last year) of your university degree, or if you are doing a double degree, you must be in your penultimate year of your overall studies and due to complete end of 2025.

Meet Mallory
Linfox National Transport Manager
1. Describe your role?
I’m the National Transport Manager within Linfox’s Resources and Industrial East business unit, which provides logistics services to the resources industrial sectors.
I lead over 20 team members across five different states. My days are filled with talking to my team, collaborating on ideas and finding solutions. As a team, we hold each other accountable and work hard to deliver for our customers. A big part of my role is ensuring we are operating safely.
What do you enjoy about working for Linfox?
You get to see so many places. I’ve travelled across Australia for my job which has been fantastic! There are also so many people, with diverse experiences, perspectives and backgrounds.
How did you get into logistics?
I joined the Linfox Graduate Program after completing my engineering degree. I finished the program and have worked at Linfox ever since.
What are some of the other pathways into logistics?
I highly recommend the graduate program. It’s a great opportunity to get a taste of logistics. Other colleagues began their careers in office administration jobs, then discovered their love for operations and changed roles.
Meet Filomena
Linfox Regional Manager
1. Describe your role?
I’m the Regional Manager for our Resources and Industrial business unit, which provides specialised logistics services to the resources, mining, oil and gas, industrial and infrastructure sectors.
I’m responsible for several sites in NSW and QLD and I manage over 130 people. Everyday looks different. I can be picking and packing in the warehouse, managing internal relationships, or finding solutions for customers. There are always curve balls thrown at me, so I need to be a problem solver!
What do you enjoy about working for Linfox?
I enjoy the culture at Linfox. I’m very fortunate to work with a good bunch of people who are passionate and good at what they do. As Linfox is so large, I’ve been able to work in ten different roles across four different business units, which has given me broad experience.
How did you get into logistics?
I joined Linfox straight out of high school. My mum worked at Linfox and was looking for someone to fill a six-week role. I applied and was accepted. When the six weeks were up, another job opportunity arose, and my Linfox career began.
What are some of the other pathways into logistics?
It’s common for people to start on the warehouse floor, gain valuable skills and eventually move into management. Others enter via the graduate program or other entry-level roles. There’s a strong culture of internal development and progression.
Meet Trevor
Linehaul driver
1. Describe your role?
I’m a linehaul driver at Linfox. I love what I do, I enjoy coming to work and driving a truck. My role gives me flexibility and a work-life balance that works for me and my family.
As a linehaul driver, I travel around 6,500 km per week. This means I get to see different parts of Australia that not many others have!
2. What do you enjoy about working for Linfox?
I feel respected and supported by my teammates, we all look out for each other.
There’s always something happening at Linfox. I’ve worked on different projects, picking up new skills each time. Everyone is always happy to help and explain new tasks, which creates a really inclusive environment.
3. How did you get into logistics?
I became a truck driver in my early 20s, I always thought it would be a fun job. I then progressed into management roles. I missed being on the tools, so I decided to return to driving and applied to Linfox. That was 12 years ago, and I couldn’t be happier!
4. What are some of the other pathways into logistics?
The Linfox Driver Academy helps people with no heavy vehicle experience, enter the industry. Certified trainers guide and support you to get your licence and become a highly skilled driver. It’s an excellent way to launch your driving career and gain valuable experience.
Meet Ahmet
Operations Manager
Describe your role?
I’m the Operations Manager for an international paint brand distribution centre in Victoria, managing a team of 75 people. I oversee the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, from working with our team on the floor, to scheduling labour, to ensuring we hit our targets.
What do you enjoy about working for Linfox?
I love the people I work with, we have amazing banter. They help make the job fun!
There is a big focus on safety at Linfox and the culture that this site has around safety is awesome.
How did you get into logistics?
I started on the warehouse floor as an agency casual 11 years ago. I was then offered a permanent role. With this experience, I worked my way up to becoming a team leader, and then a supervisor to where I am now.
What are some other pathways into logistics?
Many people like me start in entry level roles to get their foot in the door. After proving themselves and creating positive relationships, they can work their way up through the business.
