Your role

As an Air Defence Operator, you’ll use highly advanced surface-to-air missile and radar systems to detect, identify, acquire and destroy adversary aircraft. You’ll discover what it’s like to move fast in protected vehicles to defend ground forces in this team-oriented combat role. Your job will include tasks like operating combat communications equipment, assembling and operating radar systems, maintaining artillery equipment and detecting hostile aircraft.

Salary

During your 12-month role and on completion of training, you will receive a salary package starting from $66,544.

In addition to your salary, you will receive generous superannuation, housing subsidies and free medical and dental care.
