Closing in 2 hoursIn the old world, degrees were the only keys that opened big career doors. But it’s 2022, and among the many changes we’ve made for the better, we’ve changed the idea that you must go to university to do something extraordinary. We designed the Higher Apprenticeship program to cater for people who learn better on the job than in the classroom. It’s a mix of practical instruction, strong mentorship and an industry-recognised accreditation that makes this program a strong option. So if you’d prefer to learn on the job, in a world-leading firm with plenty of opportunities, you’d better keep reading.
‘HApps’, as we call it, doesn’t disappoint. Do it right, and you’ll earn two VET (Vocational education and training) qualifications in Information Technology (IT), earning the Certificate IV followed by a Diploma. Experts will coach you in their field. You’ll learn in a hands-on environment, forming relationships that will set you apart. You’ll tackle varied, challenging work with a tangible impact on the community and business world. And you’ll be able to slap that big orange-ish PwC logo on your resume from now until the time you retire. Boom.
Once you complete the Higher Apprenticeship program, you’ll have the chance to join our Graduate program and continue growing at PwC. Last year, 90% of the Higher Apprentices earned graduate roles. Think you’ll be one of them in 2023?
We’re looking for great communicators and problem solvers. We like people who are curious, motivated, digitally savvy and passionate about technology. You’ve probably got many of the skills we want. Your academic studies, hobbies, part-time work, fundraising or sporting achievements showcase your talents and the kind of person you are. Think about what you do, how you do it and how it applies to a professional services environment.
Here’s how you nail it:
- Be curious and try new things.
- Learn about how PwC works.
- Think broadly, and ask questions.
- Do good work, constantly asking for feedback on how to improve.
- Communicate clearly and well, whatever the format.
- Show us your integrity, hunger for knowledge and desire to make a difference.
