About the role
The position of Care Support Worker is part of an integrated team providing domestic services for our residents. The Care Support Worker is a crucial role providing support in the areas of Cleaning, Catering and Laundry Services. As a paid trainee, you will complete a CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support over 12 months, whilst gaining valuable hands-on industry experience
Key Responsibilities
- Completing the Certificate III Individual Support as a trainee
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Commitment to continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrate flexibility, empathy and patience with the aged person and their needs
- Demonstrate ability to provide holistic care Demonstrate respect for residents’ privacy, dignity and self esteem
- Demonstrate acceptable standard of verbal and written communication skills
- Current national police check, with no disclosable outcomes
- COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
- Influenza vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
