We have a rare opportunity for an Apprentice Chef to join our mining accommodation village at Reedy Creek, located near Miles, Queensland. This once in a lifetime opportunity would give you the ability to earn while you learn whilst working towards gaining your Cert III in Commercial Cookery. In this role you would be supported by some of our best Culinary Leaders, all whilst working with a global leader in catering & support services.

ESS manages all aspects of large-scale accommodation facilities or “villages” for remote workers, providing the essential comforts such as a hot meal, a clean bed, freshly laundered workwear to health and wellness facilities for those working away from home.

The Person

• We would expect you to have a genuine interest in all things culinary and be a real “foodie”!
• You can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• You are reliable, hardworking, resilient and can follow instructions
• You have the capacity & willingness to commit to additional study outside of work hours
