The Opportunity

We currently have exciting opportunities available in Adelaide for high school leavers to join our Cadetship Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious recent high school leaver who wants to set solid foundations for their career in the infrastructure industry.

What is a Cadetship Programme?

The Cadet Programme is a structured and guided two year programme that consists of a number of rotations across the business. Working in a supportive environment, you will gain experience in quarrying, surfacing, construction, and infrastructure maintenance. This exposure to all aspects of our business will ensure you understand what we do and give you an opportunity to pursue your chosen career. As a cadet, you will learn and develop quickly, while working your way towards a Certificate III in Civil Construction – Bituminous Surfacing. You will also be mentored by the senior members of the team as you develop your career.

This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to get your foot in the door if you are not afraid to get your hands dirty and work hard for the good of your team and the business. All necessary training will be provided. We have a unique range of learning and development opportunities that will enable us to build the Fulton Hogan future leaders and technical experts.

What we need from you?

The successful candidate will be able to work full time, shift work and be a motivated, keen and enthusiastic individual. A current driver’s licence (provisional or full) and your own transport is required. Experience will be recognised but not necessary and a good attitude and dedication is essential.
