About the team

Our Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.

 

What’s on offer?

Make a real difference to your community through once-in-a-generation experience across some iconic projects across Regional NSW:

• 3 year fixed term full-time Civil Construction Apprenticeship
• Obtain a Certificate III in Civil Construction (Road Construction and Maintenance) through TAFE
• Complete a structured training program with Face to Face lessons at TAFE

• Experience working on road construction and maintenance projects across regional NSW

 

About you:

You’re a team player, with a great attitude and hold yourself accountable for doing your best in school, work and play. You enthusiastically seek out new opportunities to learn and have a good grip on your time management and prioritisation. You also have:

• Completed Year 10 OR hold a Record of School Achievement (RoSA) OR equivalent

• Proven basic computer literacy
• Possess OR are in the process of obtaining C class drivers licence
• You are an Australian/NZ citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident
• You are able to commence full time employment in January 2023
• Understand the role will require you to organise your own transport to the depot, so reliable transport is a must

Salary

You will be paid based on your age (under 21 vs adult over 21) as per the TfNSW Award. Please see details below of the salary guide:

 

Civil Construction Apprentice

• Apprentice: 1st Year – $580.30/week ($15.2711/hour)
• Apprentice: Adult – $1079.50/week ($28.4079/hour)
