As the Compliance Support Officer, AO3 you will:
- Support environmental officers in the organisation to implement and finalise of compliance inspections.
- Assist environmental officers undertake complaint and incident investigations.
- Assist environmental officers and managers implement workplace health and safety processes and procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of inspection reports, complaint reports, compliance action reports, ministerial and other correspondence, briefing notes, information & statutory documents.
- Maintain equipment, electronic devices, asset registers and vehicles and respond to administration audit processes.
- Undertake data entry into government databases.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.

This position requires:
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and operate with a high level of independence and as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing quality administrative support.
- Ability to multi-task while working autonomously and prioritise work to ensure all targets and deadlines are achieved.
- Demonstrated high-level skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to use databases to produce effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with the ability to consult, communicate and problem solve with all levels of staff and the ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion and sound judgement in the absence of decision makers when liaising with external customers.
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of procedures, policies, regulations and standards, which impact upon the position and includes workplace health and safety requirements.
- Contribution to workplace equity and diversity that enriches our culture of innovation, respect and inclusion.
