About the role
Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Legal Counsel, you will be one of our Corporate Lawyers providing legal advice on franchising, negotiating retail leases, and advising on general corporate legal matters for the craveable brands group.
Working across jurisdictions of Australia, you will be negotiating and finalising retail leasing matters including Agreements for Leases and leases for new sites, variations, extensions and surrenders on existing leases, drafting franchise agreements and providing the business with sound advice to make considered decisions.
About You
A Law Degree with 5 or more years post-admission experience. Ideally, a good portion of that experience will have been within the retail leasing space as this is where the bread and butter of our non-standard contract work is done. Some franchising experience would be ideal but is not essential.
A high level of attention to detail will ensure your success in this fast-paced role. Excellent communication and drafting skills are also essential.
