About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Metro Transport Team based at our Epping supersite, taking on the role of Customer Service.

The Metro Transport Team specialise in local carton and small deliveries within the Melbourne area. As most of our deliveries go directly to businesses, we are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to liase directly with our customers and drivers to ensure that all deliveries are made on time.

If you have drive, passion and commitment to getting the job done, we can teach you the rest! This entry-level role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.

Some of the daily responsibilities are:

• Answering customer enquiries made by phone or email
• Ensuring all Proof of Deliveries is returned
• Work closely with other Mainfreight Branches, such as our Warehousing Team, to ensure efficient service
• Taking bookings and entering daily pickups
• Updating customers with ETA’s
