Your new role awaits…

Coates National Operations Centre is based at our head office in Mascot and provides support to customers across Australia.

This position is with our Digital team and is primarily focused on inbound enquiries via online channels (email and website). Your day will include:

  • Providing customers with product and service information
  • Compiling quotes, upselling and cross-selling to convert opportunities into sales
  • Liaising with our branch network to source equipment for customers
  • Logistics support for equipment deliveries, transfers, and pick-ups

Prior to servicing customers, you’ll receive comprehensive training to equip you to deliver a seamless experience for our customers.

Please note that you will need to be available for weekends, on a rotating Tues/Sat – Sun/Thur roster and split early/late shifts starting at 6am and 12pm.

During the training period you will be on a Monday to Friday, standard business hours roster

What you’ll bring to the role

Our amazing team is comprised of people who came from a variety of industries and backgrounds, such as retail, internal sales, account management, and customer care & support centres. What they all have in common, is their focus on ensuring the customer experience always exceeds expectations.

  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills are essential
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly to a diverse customer base
  • Experience using Outlook, Excel, sales and booking systems
  • Proactive behaviour and able to think outside the box for solutions
  • Eager to continuously learn new things
  • A great attitude and team work ethic
  • Seeking a long-term career with Australia’s largest equipment hire provider

Please note that only Australian and New Zealand Citizens, and Permanent Residents are eligible, as these roles are full-time and not suitable for Working Holiday, or Student Visa holders.
