Working as part of a dedicated Disability Services Team you will deliver person-centred care to our customers. You will give people with a disability confidence in quality service delivery and ensure all services meet, as a minimum, the national standards for disability services.
As a Care Worker you will:
– Support our disability customers with activities of daily living
– Assist customers with personal care support including showering, toileting and feeding assistance
– Provide support with complex care activities including bowel care, urinary care and skin care
– Provide transportation for your customers to appointments and for shopping and leisure activities
– Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with customers and their families
– Maintain a focus on your own and the customers’ safety and adhere to all health and safety guidelines and policies
About You:
– You are committed and passionate about making a positive difference to our customers’ well-being (essential)
– Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and on the weekend (essential)
– NDIS working screening check or willingness to obtain (essential)
– A current Australian Driver’s Licence and own a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle (essential)
– A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn (essential)
– Confident and professional communication skills (essential)
– Experience in a similar role providing complex personal care to people with a disability.
