Working as part of a dedicated Disability Services Team you will deliver person centred care to our customers.  You will give people with a disability confidence in the quality of service delivery and ensure all services meet, as a minimum, the national standards for disability services.

As a Care worker you will:

• Support our disability customers with activities of daily living
• Assist customers with personal care support including showering, toileting and feeding assistance
• Provide support with complex care activities including bowel care, urinary care and skin care
• Provide transportation for your customers to appointments and for shopping and leisure activities
• Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with customers and their families
• Maintain a focus on your own and the customers’ safety and adhere to all health and safety guidelines and policies

About You:

• You are a passionate person and strive for building awareness and making a positive difference to our customers’ wellbeing (essential)
• Cert III/IV in Disability, Aged Care or Assistance in Nursing OR experience in a similar role providing complex personal care to people with a disability is an advantage
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends where required (essential)
• NDIS working screening check or willingness to obtain (essential)
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle (essential)
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn (essential)
• Confident and professional communication skills (essential)
