Closing in 4 hoursWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Support – Defleet to join our Fleet team based in Head Office, Tullamarine Victoria on a full time 12-month maternity leave contract. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with administrative fleet control to disposal and the accurate management and maintenance of spare keys.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Controlling spare key issues and monitoring key movements from the key room via shared file
- Logistical control of vehicle keys (new keys, spare keys) to ensure that all keys are returned when vehicle is de-fleeted to avoid additional charges. Conduct annual audit of same.
- Build relationships with lease and/or dealer network
- Ensure end of life costs are processed in Ataraxia and IPOS and approval given to supplier via purchase order before commencement
- Work with required departments to improve end of life costs and lag
- Consistency and accuracy of vehicle information in Greenway and associated platforms
- Support Procurement with new fleet as required
- Transport for sale costs
- Strong control and communication to Operations via appropriate channels
- NZ transport purchase orders in IPOS as required
- Continuous improvement in storing of vehicle equipment for minimal end of life costs
- Provide support and assistance to other areas of the Fleet Department as may be required from time to time
To be considered for this position you should possess:
- Minimum 12 months’ fleet administration experience
- Previous experience in data entry / administration is highly desirable
- Background in car rental / travel and tourism industry
- Experience working with Ataraxia & IPOS is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Sound interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Well organised and great attention to detail
