About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking two passionate IT Service Delivery Graduates to join the Information Technology team based at our Group Support Services office located Eight Mile Plains (Brisbane southside) in Queensland. The role will be responsible for the support of the IT Service Desk within a national Australian business.
As a Graduate within the IT function, you will already have a good technical knowledge and an understanding of operating systems, servers, and applications software. As the ‘face’ of IT, you will be responsible for accepting new incidents, providing support and solutions to Teys business users and where necessary, working with our support vendors to address escalations promptly.
Overall role requirements include:
- Accepting new incidents, providing resolutions, and escalating appropriately
- Perform updates, maintenance, and upgrades to existing business systems
- Maintenance of asset registers and ensuring compliance with our IT policies and procedures
- Work with our support vendors for escalation and support
- Participate in project work where appropriate – new technologies are always on your radar.

About You It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, or related discipline
- • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated capacity to explain simple procedures in both written and verbal format
- • Exceptional phone manner
- • Confident to work under pressure and think on your feet
- • Availability to work after-hours on-call
- • Capability to translate IT technical language into business context.
Desirable:
- • Experience with Linux or Solaris
- • Exposure to customer support, system administration or related areas.
