We have an excellent opportunity for a passionate and proactive Fleet Administrator to join our Fleet Operations team based in Tullamarine, VIC!

This is a fantastic full time opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail to utilise their fleet knowledge and make a difference to Europcar’s Victorian operations.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Monitor the return of lease end vehicles, from stations, to ensure they are de-fleeted within Lagtime KPI and no end of lease penalties are incurred
  • Adhere to handback procedures for each model type
  • Achieving the Lagtime target each month
  • Manage transport costs to defleet vehicles
  • Accurate Defleet inspections to be recorded and vehicles in poor condition communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate any delays to defleet vehicles with appropriate departments
  • Risk Vehicles are prepared and advertised as directed by Head Office and policy, documenting on Pre-Inspection checklist
  • Number plates to be returned to State Road authority within specified timeframe and relevant paperwork that follows
  • Work with the wider Fleet team on planning ahead for incoming fleet and optimal fleet mix and utilisation
  • Prepare new fleet deliveries with marketing materials as per policy
  • Maintain Greenway (internal car rental system) with any fleet movements
  • Provide support in the operational movements of sale vehicles and paperwork
  • Reporting requirements for registrations; grounding; lagtimes; freight for sale costs and; defleeting.
  • Support communication to Stations on quality, customer service & vehicle condition to enhance and lead continual improvement.
  • Integrity, adherence and legality of financial approvals within control

To be considered for this role you need the following:

  • Up to 1 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Previous fleet experience or frontline operational experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy – medium excel skills and learns internal systems quickly
  • Strong skills in planning, organising and determining priorities
  • Exceptional level of communication skills, both verbal and written
