Logistic Specialist Traineeship

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking several full time Logistic Specialist Trainees to join Jaybro at their warehouse in Arndell Park, a western suburb of Sydney.

If you’re eager to learn and develop new skills, completing a qualification would be a great opportunity.

Undertaking this two-year traineeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Logistic Specialist and earn your TLI30319 Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations.

You will be responsible for and contribute to:

• Physically unloading containers and pallets
• Organising freight consignments
• Processing purchase orders
• Picking and packing items
• Operating RF Scanners and completing online training
• Using forklift machinery, if certified to do so
• Ensuring health and safety requirements are met

ABOUT YOU

• Have the desire to learn and have a positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment will be well-regarded but not required
• Reliable and punctual
• Good safety awareness
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle
• Forklift licence well regarded but if you are prepared to learn we would look to put you through the course at no cost to you
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol test and police check
• Be up to date with or willing to get COVID-19 vaccinations
