About the role
  
Reporting to the Head of HR the Payroll Officer delivers outstanding customer service through timely, accurate and compliant payroll administration for Craveable Brands and its company owned restaurants. Sitting within the Human Resources team, the payroll officer is the point of contact for all payroll related enquiries across Craveable Brands and our restaurant operations network (Oporto, Red Rooster and Chicken Treat).
  
Key tasks include:

• Weekly and monthly payroll processing and administration for Restaurant Support Centre and company owned restaurant teams.
• Customer service and business support for all payroll related enquiries.
• Completion of all payroll related reporting and financial requirements such as month and end of financial year reporting, renumeration reviews, onboarding and offboarding calculations, redundancies etc.
• Timely processing of PAYG, lodgement of Payroll tax and Annual Payroll reconciliation.
• Continuous improvement of systems and processes ensuring services meet professional and industry standards.

About You 
Essential

• Proven experience in large scale payroll administration for both waged and salaried teams of 100 or more.
• Excellent understanding of relevant payroll legislation, single touch payroll and awards.
• Extensive experience with Preceda and/or Chris21.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and related interfaces.

  
Desirable

• Fantastic verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate the world of payroll into plain English!
• Superb time management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• An interest and/or familiarity in renumeration and reward.
