PM Operations | Mainfreight Transport Townsville QLD

Join our Operations team at Mainfreight Transport Townsville!  Working within a well-established team this is an exciting career opportunity for a passionate and energetic person who has a strong work ethic.  This role will involve working in our warehouse and you will be responsible for several areas within the Inwards or Outwards areas of the operation.  The successful team member will be able to work autonomously or within a team and have a quality approach to all tasks they undertake.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Check freight against documentation.
• Strap and secure freight safely
• Load / unload linehaul units
• Staging and sort freight
• Work closely with our drivers and team members to ensure safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements are upheld.

Skills & Experience

• Be able to work within a strong focused team environment
• Must have a positive attitude
• Forklift experience is preferable but not a necessity
• Good communication skills
• An eye for detail and a customer focused attitude
• The ability to work under pressure within stringent timeframes
• A quality and results focused approach
