A 100% Australian owned and operated Company, Thomas Foods International Tamworth (TFIT) is an industry leader in the small stock processing industry. The plant is one of four meat processing facilities owned and operated by Thomas Foods International and produces lamb & sheep products for domestic and export sale across 80 countries.

Due to production requirements our Tamworth plant is looking for potential employees to fulfill a broad range of roles in all areas of the business, with both Skilled and Entry Level positions available.

Production at our Tamworth plant operates Monday to Saturday over two shifts, averaging 40 rostered production hours per week. A wide range of shifts are available and may suit your current work interests and we at TFIT pride ourselves on providing abundant opportunities to our employees within the business. We offer excellent working conditions and remuneration in accordance with the Thomas Foods International Tamworth Pty Ltd Production Employees Enterprise Agreement 2019.

Roles/tasks available include, but are not limited to:

• Packing
• Trimming
• Slaughter floor labouring
• Chiller pushers
• Loading
• Sorting
• Carton room operators
• Stockyards

Skilled and Entry Level applicants will be considered. On the job training will be provided. All applicants will also be required to undergo a pre-employment Health Assessment including a drug and alcohol screening.
