The Role

These roles are all about making an impact and collaborating with various teams to support the development and training of the nuclear engineering, science and technology workforce. Step into an exciting role with these key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of program management, projects and coordination activities in line with established procedures and performance standards.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on policy, project or operational issues, responding to their needs and expectations.
- Maintain and oversee databases and undertake data quality assurance tasks.
- Respond to stakeholder enquiries via phone, email and written correspondence, including complex non-routine queries.
- Understand the work environment and how daily tasks support the Australian Submarine Agency, recognising the importance of the contribution towards Australia’s national security interests.
- Take the initiative to progress work to meet business objectives.
About our Team
The Program Officer roles sit within the primary team responsible for building, developing and sustaining the organisations nuclear engineering, science and technology and technical workforce of the Australian Submarine Agency.
You will become part of a diverse team dedicated to help grow the workforce, skills and capabilities Australia needs to safely and securely operate, shape and uphold its future fleet of nuclear-powered submarines. You will have the ability to work in fulfilling roles that support career growth while providing the flexibility you need to maintain a healthy work-like balance.
