As a Driver you’ll play a crucial role as the face of Coates in the field. You’ll need to be able to work to tight deadlines and maintaining a high standard of safety.
You’ll be transporting various pieces of plant equipment, such as boom/scissor lifts and forklifts, to and from our customers

Our Drivers are often the face of Coates and require exceptional customer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring a high standard of safety.
Key duties:
- Safe, professional, and timely delivery/pick up of equipment to and from various site locations.
- Effectively secure freight load to ensure successful delivery.
- Operate and manoeuvre equipment on and off a tilt tray. eg boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts
About you:
Alongside a positive and flexible attitude, you enjoy working in a team and have a customer focused approach to your work. You will also have:
- A valid driver’s license – MR or HR (EWP and Tilt tray licences highly regarded)
- Experience loading and unloading equipment using correct restraint – highly regarded.
- A clean driving record and a commitment to the importance of safety
- Stable work history
- Proven customer service skills
- Adequate technology skills
