Your new role awaits:
The position of Yardperson at Mulgrave is a key support role responsible for the maintenance of the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment. You will work with a dedicated team in this busy environment, to ensure the branch yard is always safe, clean and organised.
As well as providing a high level of customer service, you will also need to:
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles using safe loading & unloading procedures.
- Perform general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organised yard.
- Assist with basic service and repair of non-high-risk equipment in a workshop environment
- Promote a Safety First – Zero Harm safety culture – talk about safety to your colleagues and customers.
About you:
As well as having experience in a similar role, ideally you will have the following:
- A current forklift & driver’s license.
- Mechanical aptitude – you enjoy tinkering with equipment and operating in a hands-on environment
- A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
