Meet Neave – one of our valued team members at our Fyshwick store in the ACT. As Neave explains to the locals, she loves working at Bunnings and works in the best part of the store – the garden section.

The Fyshwick team love having Neave in the team too – particularly the energy she brings to every shift, and the way she starts every day with a smile. Whether she’s in the café or the garden section, she gives every task 110 per cent and has an outstanding ability to engage with her customers and team members.

Neave and her mother, Marian, recently chatted to ABC Radio about her job at Bunnings, and we had to share their interview. Together, they hope more workplaces can benefit from employing people with a disability, like we have.

Diversity in all forms is incredibly important to Bunnings – be it age, gender, culture, ability, LGBTIQA+ identifying and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or Māori heritage.

We’re proud of employing people who best serve and represent the community. We continue to challenge ourselves every day to learn more to create an even more inclusive environment for our team, customers and to support our local communities.
