The brilliant minds at Capgemini and Nudge have come together to help a new generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait talent land their dream jobs, and we want to tell you all about it. For all the details on what their collaboration will look like, potential career opportunities and Capgemini’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, make sure you check this out. Trust us, it’s not something you’ll want to miss.

Introducing Capgemini

With a team of 350,000 passionate employees across more than 50 countries, Capgemini is a global staple in the science, technology, and analytics industry. After 55 years in the business of helping companies reach their full potential with the power of tech, it’s no wonder they’re who the big leagues turn to and trust with their operations.

What’s more, Capgemini shows some serious dedication to ethical business practices. At the heart of their identity are seven key values: Honesty, Boldness, Trust, Freedom, Fun, Modesty, and Team Spirit. While their business grows and evolves, these values remain fixed, meaning employees can count on a fulfilling team culture regardless of when they start their Capgemini journey.

Capgemini and Nudge: Just Try to Name a More Iconic Duo

With Capgemini’s mission to uplift their people and create a welcoming team culture, it’s no wonder that they’ve chosen to partner with the inspiring team at Nudge!

As a Perth-based organisation aimed towards helping young people launch their careers (a goal we can totally get behind), Nudge provides personalised advice, tailored support, training and mentoring to make sure traineeships work for everyone involved.

Through Capgemini and Nudge’s iconic partnership, the duo will be helping young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people start their career journeys on the right foot. The only perquisites are being between the ages of 16-30 and possessing a willingness to learn!

Indigenous Career Entry Opportunities

This dream team will be helping facilitate a myriad of exciting career opportunities for those starting out in the workforce. Aside from facilitating education pathways such as a Certificate III in Information Technology and a Certificate III in Business Support, they’ll be doing some serious community outreach, too!

Not only will the pair be reaching out to schools, community organisations, and training organisations to support young people in Perth, but they’ll also be recruiting the next generation of talent for Capgemini. It doesn’t get much better than this.

In their own words, “Together, we are aiming to create an employment ripple effect that transforms young lives and enriches workplaces, building capabilities, confidence and thriving workplace cultures.” This is a mission we can really get behind here at Explore Careers. In other words, we love to see it!

Capgemini’s Reconciliation Action Plan

With Capgemini’s longstanding commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment, it’s no surprise that they’re partnering with Nudge to work towards inclusivity. In fact, they already have a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) in place to support and uplift the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Within their framework, Capgemini works towards:

  • Establishing and strengthening mutually beneficial relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders and organisations.
  • Promoting positive race relations through anti-discrimination.
  • Increasing understanding, value and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge and rights.
  • Improve employment outcomes by increasing recruitment, retention and professional development of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
