Our Care
Residential Care
Care is of the utmost importance when gifted with the responsibility of looking after those who are vulnerable. That goes without saying. Our care model is focused on enhancing our resident’s daily experiences and enabling them to continue to live their best life.
At Infinite Care, we work to create safe, nurturing and purposeful environments for those who require memory support. Each of our homes includes homely but secure areas for residents with memory-related conditions. We employ ways to support those suffering from these conditions, such as using visual and tactile memory promotors and also music to evoke old memories and emotions – just to name a few!
We partner with residents and their families to ensure the respite experience is unique and tailored to their individual needs. We work to help our respite residents feel instantly orientated and welcomed and like they are part of our home.
We offer a flexible work life and a supportive culture. Want to study whilst working? No problem! With flexibility in working hours, we work to support your study, personal and/or family commitments.
CAREER PROGRESSION
We offer a range of exciting career opportunities across all functions of the business, including clinical management, nursing, allied health services, training and governance, lifestyle, hotel and food services, maintenance and administration.
Integrity – We do what we say we will do and make care decisions in the best interests of the residents that we serve.
Diversity – We understand everyone is different and we show that in how we communicate and interact with each other.
Compassion – We know we sometimes need to talk less, ask good questions and listen deeply to our residents and each other.
Accountability – We take action and learn by doing. We band together when things don’t work out and treat failure as a learning experience.
Excellence – We don’t accept that the status quo is okay. We work towards a higher purpose of customer service for our residents and for each other.
Empowerment – We recognise potential and nurture our team to do the best they can in their roles, give them space to find their own feet and encourage them to be champions of change.
Humans of Infinite shares the real faces of aged care… because we are passionate, loving and dedicated… and #WeMakeAgedCareGreat
Aged care is not an easy job choice, BUT it is one of the most beautiful and rewarding… and the reason we do what we do! Where else can you feel you are literally making a positive difference in someone’s life every single day you come to work?
It takes a village to support and care for our elderly residents, and they love nothing more than that extra bit of TLC from our lovely volunteers.
If you are not sure if aged care is for you, why not try it out by volunteering your time in a facility near you? It’s a great way to get first-hand experience in the field, and you never know – you may fall in love with it just like we do!
Volunteer duties can include visiting residents who just want a friend, helping with reading, letter writing or arts and crafts, assisting residents with gentle exercise programs, light admin projects or technical assistance when connecting with family members and much more!
