Not only do we have opportunities in-store, we regularly have positions available in a diverse range of roles in our head offices, based in Cremorne, Melbourne.

We are passionate about developing our talent from within, with many examples of this across the entire team both instore and in our Head Office.

We often consider transfers between our stores as well as transitions from stores to head office is also a possibility. Working within the Fashion Industry presents some great opportunities, and we believe in long-term careers within Sportsgirl.

We provide many young people with their first job, whether it be casual, part-time, full time or internships, whilst studying. This allows them to gain skills and experience, developing their future career paths and aspirations.

Your development

At Sportsgirl, we believe in investing in our people and provides a structured learning program for all new team members from casuals through to management level. We offer many learning and development programs and encourage our people to take advantage of each opportunity to grow their skills and knowledge and further their careers with us.

We are committed to our people’s ongoing development and offer a diverse range of programmes and learning opportunities ranging from online courses to external and internal led face-to-face and virtual workshops on a wide variety of topics.

What is the minimum age accepted to apply for a job?

 Can I move between stores and head office?

We promote succession planning within our business as part of all our team members’ development. Where possible, all of our vacancies are advertised internally first.

Do you have a graduate program?

We don’t currently offer a graduate program, however, we do recruit for a number of entry-level roles across our business and encourage you to develop your skills and experience to progress your career.

Examples of our head office entry-level positions include: Buying Assistant, Planning Assistant, and Accounts Payable Officer.
