At BaptistCare, your career is more than just a job.
Here, every conversation you have, connection you make, and service you provide can open up new possibilities for our customers.
You’ll join an organisation with a long history of supporting people and communities across Australia.
For more than 110 years, we’ve provided care, connection and practical support across our residential aged care, home care, retirement living, community services, disability support and housing services.
Guided by our Christian identity, our focus is simple: helping people find new ways to live better.

At BaptistCare, our vision, purpose and values guide who we are and how we serve people and communities.
They reflect what we believe about people, the change we want to see in the world, and the way we work together every day.
At BaptistCare, our vision is to create communities where everyone can live to their full potential.
As an organisation, we are inspired by the compassionate and humble way Jesus cared for all people, especially those who were often overlooked – and it is this care for all people that also guides our commitment to being open, welcoming and inclusive of people of all faiths, backgrounds and beliefs.
We bring our vision and purpose to life through our I ACT values:
Inclusivity – We respect each other and ensure everyone has the opportunity to participate, succeed and belong.
Accountability – We take personal responsibility and ownership, committing to excellence in our actions and ethics.
Compassion – We express our care by acting on our empathy and providing tangible support to those around us.
Teamwork – We work collaboratively to share ideas, skills and knowledge towards our common goals.

With a career at BaptistCare, you can make a meaningful difference in so many different ways. Regardless of your role and how you’ll contribute, here’s what happens when you apply to join the team.
Your application should include your resume and a cover letter that highlights your relevant experience.
Our talent acquisition team will assess every application and choose a shortlist of candidates for the role.
Step 2: Interviews
If your application is shortlisted, you’ll participate in a phone or video call interview.
Typically, our talent acquisition team will ask what you’re looking for in a role with BaptistCare. They’ll also ask about your experience to make sure you meet the criteria for the position.
This conversation is a great opportunity for you to ask us any questions you might have about the position, too.
If your phone or video interview goes well, you may be invited for a face-to-face meeting. This interview will provide a full overview of BaptistCare and the opportunity for you to discuss your work history and suitability for the role.
Step 3: Pre-employment checks
Once you’ve completed the interview process, we’ll contact the two work references you provided in your application.
As an aged care and family and community services provider, we also need to complete a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC). If you’re on a VISA, we’ll also do a VEVO check. If you are applying for a care provider role, you may also need an assessment to ensure you can meet the physical requirements of the role. Some roles may also require an NDIS worker screening check.
Step 4: If you’re successful, congratulations!
Got the job? Congratulations, and welcome aboard!
We’ll confirm your work conditions, salary and start date. Once agreed, we’ll send you an official letter of offer. Simply log in to your applicant portal to accept your offer, and you’re good to go!
