Our annual career development planning process gives you an opportunity to share your career aspirations with your manager and discuss the best course for getting you to where you want to be. Your career development plan is continuously updated based on your specific career objectives, as well as CGI’s business needs.

1. Share Purchase Plan (SPP)

Every permanent employee is invited to become a shareholder in CGI. Your contribution to the share plan is matched by CGIup to a generous % of base salary.

2. Profit Participation Plan (PPP)

This plan distributes a portion of our profits based on the achievement of CGI’s financial objectives and your performance.

3. Global Health and Wellbeing program 

Made up of a team of multidisciplinary health experts, we support our employees with initiatives such as skin checks, flu vaccinations and health workshops.

 4. CGI Academia 

Our global, on-demand e-learning platform contains courses, e-books, videos and learning pathways to industry certs., including mock exams and online mentoring.

 5. Gender neutral paid parental leave program 

Primary caregivers receive 16 weeks and secondary caregivers 2 weeks, paid at full salary. This is in addition to government funded parental leave.

 6. Volunteer leave 

As part of our commitment to CSR, every member can access one paid volunteer day per year.

We currently have 2 internal programs developing our consultants and future leaders in addition to the use of external providers.

Our Leaders, members and D&I Council all champion initiatives to encourage D&I as a CGI way of life including;

  • Providing 16 weeks paid parental leave for the primary care giver (gender neutral), in addition to any government funded parental leave.
  • Having removed and continually monitor the gender pay gap between like for like roles across the Australian business.
  • Being endorsed by Work180, an advocate for working women who provide a directory of endorsed employers who support D&I and equality
  • ‘Bring Your Whole Self to Work’ – a program which includes a series of events around Pride, Harmony Day and International Women’s day – focusing on educating, promoting and celebrating our unique differences.
  • Delivering an annual DE&I calendar actively promoting different cultural celebrations.
  • Partnering with numerous organisations to promote and drive young women into technology and STEM, as well as providing our members with mentoring and networking opportunities, such as sponsoring or being a member of Girls in TechFemales in Information Technology & Telecommunications (FitT)and Women in Technology
  • Increasing the number of part-time positions available to make work more accessible to those with caregiving responsibilities
