What We Do
WorldSkills Australia creates opportunities for young Australians to showcase their talents through a series of skills competitions held at regional, national, and international levels. These competitions are aligned with National Training Packages and key programs like Apprenticeships Australia and Jobs Australia, ensuring real-world relevance and impact.
Our National Championship is the largest vocational education and excellence event in the country—shining a spotlight on emerging tradespeople, technicians, and skilled professionals who are leading the next generation of Australian industry.

WorldSkills Australia National Championships
The 2025 WorldSkills National Championships and Skills Show is Australia’s premier showcase of vocational education and training (VET), taking place over three action-packed days from 12–14 June at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
With over 25,000 visitors expected, the event features:
