Operations Team Member | Mainfreight Transport Toowoomba QLD

We are looking for an operations team member to join our close-knit team in Toowoomba. While we are a small team, we are part of a global network so there is plenty of opportunity to grow and progress in our business. This role would be suitable for someone looking to start a career in supply chain and all training is provided.

Duties & responsibilities 

• Loading and unloading linehaul units and local pick up and delivery trucks
• Checking and scanning freight in and out of the depot
• Maintaining a clean work area – house keeping
• A strong knowledge of load restraint requirements (training provided)

Skills and experience 

• Forklift license (beneficial, but not required)
• Ability to sort freight by state and postcode
• Eager to learn
• Ability to make educated decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Be self-motivated
