Hi, my name’s Emily Poole, I’m a Customer Accounts Manager and I have been with the company for ten years.

Q: Can you tell us about your role and how you got started?

A: My current role is Customer Accounts Manager, where I deal with customers and their sales enquiries.

I started straight out of school in a Certificate III Business Admin traineeship, and now I’m in a manager role.

Q: What are your favourite aspects about working for Mawsons?

A: I enjoy visiting the customer and quarry sites, I enjoyed the admin role but wanted to learn more, which led to my manager role.

Q: Can you share some highlights from your Mawsons journey?

A: My highlights would be my career progression from admin to manager role, and working with different teams in the quarries and with the customers.

Q: What do you wish more people knew about your industry?

A: What might surprise young people is that an entry-level role can lead to a long-term career, just like mine has.

Q: What advice would you give to your high-school self?

A: When I left school, I had no idea what I wanted to do, no idea about quarrying and the industry, and here I am 10 years later still building on my career. My advice would be to just give it a go.
