Experian

Science, Technology & Analytics

At Experian, we’re creating a better tomorrow for our consumers, clients, people and communities.

We turn data into information and deploy advanced technologies and analytics to help people and businesses make informed decisions, take control of their financial wellbeing and seize new opportunities.

Our brand reflects who we are, what we do and what we believe in. In a complex, ever-changing world, the use of data is now driving significant advancements and new ways of thinking. At Experian, we recognise the importance of the role we play in unlocking the power of data to help people, businesses and society. Enabling people and organisations to achieve their goals.

Love Where You Work

At Experian, we are committed to building an inclusive culture and to creating an environment where people can balance successful careers with their commitments and interests outside of work.

We care about work that works, whether that’s about where you work or adjusting your hours to fit better with your life. Our flexible working practices, including our hybrid working model where employees can split their working time between the office and their home, support our belief that this balance brings long-lasting benefits for our business as well as our people.

Creating a Better Tomorrow Together

Calling all authentic individuals. At the core of Experian is a mission to unlock the power of data and technology to improve our world. We can do this when every team member brings their whole self to work. Together we really can create a better tomorrow for people and organisations.

Inspiring Each Other

Experian is a global organisation playing an important role in our worldwide economy. By investing in our people, technology and innovation, we responsibly harness data that can transform businesses, help communities prosper and enable people to thrive. We want inspired employees that want to make an impact.

The Experian Way

Hiring and retaining inspired employees is the secret to our success. We have five principles we call The Experian Way that gives us a roadmap to be the kind of company you want to work for. The Experian Way is a set of behaviours and expectations consistent with our cultural values.

Delight Customers

We expect our employees to highly value the needs of our clients and consumers. At the heart of this behaviour is nurturing these important relationships, going the extra mile and taking accountability for our actions. But we aren’t alone. In understanding the Experian Way, we recognize we must support each other in our quest to delight customers.

Innovate to Grow

We want employees at every level to be questioning how we can do things better. All of us have the power of transformative thinking. Inspired employees – those unafraid to take risks and get out of their comfort zone — drive innovation at Experian. Understanding that it’s okay to fail, as long as we correct and learn something from the effort.

Collaborate to Win

To meet our mission to create better tomorrow, we want employees who can feed off the passion, strengths and capabilities of each other. Doing so means we are inspired to create exciting new ways to serve our clients and consumers. Successful collaboration means trust and embracing different perspectives so great things can happen working together.

Safeguarding Our Future

The issues of data security, privacy and fraud are always on the minds of our customers. Experian understands the immense responsibility we have to safeguard data. The importance of our role as stewards of data must never be taken for granted. We expect every employee to take our role as guardians for the protection of personal data seriously

Value Each Other

We expect every employee to treat one another with respect, trust and integrity. It starts with our leaders who exhibit this behaviour every day. It’s about embracing diversity, learning from one another, overcoming barriers, and delivering for Experian’s customers, communities and society. It also means recognizing and celebrating our performance and achievements.

Our Culture

Our uniqueness is that we genuinely value yours. From India, across Asia to Japan and down to Australia, our 1800 people are what makes our business special. Experian’s culture, people and environments are key differentiators. We focus on what truly matters; diversity and inclusion, work/life balance, development, innovation, collaboration, wellness, reward & recognition, and volunteering. That’s why we’re an award-winning organisation for our people-first practices, something we’re very proud of.

Creating a diverse and equitable workplace

We’re pleased to announce that Experian has been reviewed and recognised as a WORK180 Endorsed Employer for All Women.

WORK180 promotes organisational standards that raise the bar for women in the workplace, around the world. It does this by endorsing and supporting workplaces that are committed to gender equity, diversity, and inclusion, and making it easy for women to find fulfilling roles with them. It’s all about enabling workplaces to do better, while empowering women to expect better.

Why should we be proud?

In 2021, only 50% of companies were successful in meeting WORK180’s endorsement standards. That’s not because WORK180 asks employers to be perfect, but they must have a proven commitment to the careers of all women. Experian was recognised for offering a number of supportive policies. These include:

  • Flexible working
  • 17 weeks paid parental leave to primary carers
  • Domestic Violence Leave
  • Career development opportunities
  • Inclusive and anti-discrimination culture
