Purpose
“Life After School: Broaden your horizons with Macquarie” aims to teach high schools students what it is really like working at a large corporation like Macquarie and provide career advice to them as they think about their future career choices.

Our aim is to identify future junior talent, particularly women, and encourage them to consider Macquarie as a future employer. We will also highlight the varied university degrees we hire from and align them to the possible career paths and a successful future with Macquarie.

Students will gain a firsthand look into the world of radiology and discover the diverse career pathways available, including roles as a Radiographer, Sonographer, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current technical staff from I-MED will deliver an engaging presentation, sharing their personal journeys into the field, what study pathways they took, and what day-to-day work in radiology looks like.
This session is ideal for Year 10 students who are beginning to consider future study and career options. Attendees will also learn about university requirements, placement opportunities within I-MED during study, and scholarships available for students in regional areas.
