Our goal is to shed light on the diversity of roles within the banking and technology sectors. We want to empower you to understand how your choices today can open doors for tomorrow. You will also gain insights into the variety of university degrees and career paths that can lead to a rewarding career at Macquarie.

SAS who are the leaders in analytics are hosting an event and they would like to invite your female students to attend. At SAS, they’re not just thinking about the future; they’re actively shaping it. Girls In Tech Day helps bridge the gender gap in tech education and employment, showcasing the career opportunities that girls can explore in STEM and IT. And how they can build a more diverse and inclusive industry that reflects the world we live in.

Macquarie Group is inviting careers advisors to nominate high performing students in years 10 and 11 for an evening event focussed on demystifying the financial services industry. We are interested in meeting motivated students who want to learn about the diversity of careers at Macquarie.

Purpose

“Life After School: Broaden your horizons with Macquarie” aims to teach high schools students what it is really like working at a large corporation like Macquarie and provide career advice to them as they think about their future career choices.

We hope to raise awareness of the diverse nature of careers within the banking and financial services industry. Our aim is to identify future junior talent, particularly women, and encourage them to consider Macquarie as a future employer. We will also highlight the varied university degrees we hire from and align them to the possible career paths and a successful future with Macquarie.

Covering topics such as common accounting misconceptions, exciting and diverse opportunities available to those who study accounting, how to start an accounting career and more!

They’re doing a FREE Virtual Information Session that might be of interest to you and your students! They want to want to visit schools around your area in Term 3 and 4 to promote career paths and relevant Early Career opportunities at PwC.

Students will gain a firsthand look into the world of radiology and discover the diverse career pathways available, including roles as a Radiographer, Sonographer, and Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Current technical staff from I-MED will deliver an engaging presentation, sharing their personal journeys into the field, what study pathways they took, and what day-to-day work in radiology looks like.

This session is ideal for Year 10 students who are beginning to consider future study and career options. Attendees will also learn about university requirements, placement opportunities within I-MED during study, and scholarships available for students in regional areas.
