Macquarie Group is inviting careers advisors to nominate high performing students in years 10 and 11 for an evening event focussed on demystifying the financial services industry. We are interested in meeting motivated students who want to learn about the diversity of careers at Macquarie.
Purpose
“Life After School: Broaden your horizons with Macquarie” aims to teach high schools students what it is really like working at a large corporation like Macquarie and provide career advice to them as they think about their future career choices.
We hope to raise awareness of the diverse nature of careers within the banking and financial services industry. Our aim is to identify future junior talent, particularly women, and encourage them to consider Macquarie as a future employer. We will also highlight the varied university degrees we hire from and align them to the possible career paths and a successful future with Macquarie.
Queensland Rail is committed to creating opportunities for First Nations students through accessible and sustainable employment pathways. To achieve this, Queensland Rail is piloting a Rail Engineering Careers Program, to ignite Year 9 & 10 student awareness and interest in the abundant and emerging range of engineering careers accessible to young people.
